About Us

Northwest Blinds began operations in 1984. Arlan and Karla Swenson have owned and operated Northwest Blinds since 2002. We specialize in providing in-home consultations for a full line of window treatments products from Hunter Douglas.

Northwest Blinds will bring samples to your home so you can easily view colors and options. Commercial buildings are also a big part of the business at Northwest Blinds. We have worked in the past with churches, apartment buildings, banks, law offices and even historic buildings that have been restored.

We will strive to meet the needs of our clients by finding the right product at the right price. We will include the measuring, freight, and installation as a part of our bid. Providing our own factory trained installers helps keep costs down gives us a better handle on attention to detail. You can call us with any problems and not have to search for somebody who was subcontracted for the job.

Most of our customers find us through referral and word of mouth advertising. We can provide references and are confident our pricing is more than competitive and our work detail will be more than satisfactory, from the beginning to the end of any project. We would like to earn your business!

We proudly serve Fargo, North Dakota, Moorhead, Minnesota and the surrounding area. Since we are locally owned and operated, we take our long-term commitment to our community seriously, and we are proud of the professional products and services we provide.
